A dealership in Indianapolis had a 117 display with a dyno chart. They were very proud of the 93 HP/106 TQ. I was confused. A 110" with a decent exhaust would whoop that. But, that may have been with an "EPA happy" tune. You're right though, I've seen other 117's with killer numbers. 93/106 from a 117 downright embarrassing, though. Haha!

I just talked to Ed today, I might just have the dealer pop some 10-1 pistons in my 110 instead of getting the 117, I am worried about MPG dropping too much.
Yeah I'm glad I got a 7 year warranty another reason why I'm gonna wait before diving in. Stock lifters are gm junk anyway. Johnson hilift developed the lifter for the original twin cam but harley went with Delco aka gm as they were cheaper. Ams in fortworth sells the Johnson lifters and used them on my last motor build.
I got hung up in the moment at the dealership, approved to buy the cvo, and agreed on a price for mine and loved all the features but now I'm ready to really change it up and have a hard time doing that. I wanna go to a 23, I want more power, speaker lids, real extended bags and it's a bitch cause no one carries crushed sapphire paint code. I would have been happier with a rgs and made it my own. I saw 3 other blue cvorgu at lonestar rally at least mine was a little different. And I expected more power out of a $40k motorcycle. The 2002 97" I traded in was faster.
I get compliments all the time on the bike. But after building my own it's really hard to leave this one alone and just ride it. Then I tell myself your 35 and own a badass cvo. Be proud of that. I fight my own demons. My dad always gave me **** for not leaving something alone and I've owned 27 vehicles and 5 bikes upto this point. I don't stay happy with **** long. Lol

More economical way is to have heads milled, keep same pistons and add cams. What I did to mine. Cycle Rama is 4 miles from my house. They do all my machine and dyno work.
