I have Tman 555 cams in my SE110. I'm upgrading to the 117 kit and the dealer is pulling out my cams to install the SE259 cams that come in the kit. What opinion do any of you have on this cam question. Would like to find out before they start putting back together. Bike has 6,000 miles on it and the cylinders and Pistons in are junk, all scored up, been knocking from day one of buying so I'm trying to do this right since Harley is paying for 90 percent of it.

I know that several have complained of the cam selection that Harley uses in the 117' kit due to, where in the curve the performance actually comes on and the low numbers its making.
You might want to reach out to a few folks and ask, I am sure Fuel Moto will help.
Heck I had my 110" performing a great deal better than the advertised HD dyno numbers for a 117" kit, it was running TW 777 cams, Stage 1 head head work, FM 2-1-2 header w/eseries and dyno'd by Jamie and it performed.

I am not sure where the Cubic inch race will start and end but, with some mild head work, milled cyl and heads, stock pistons, 57H cams, 2/1/2 SS head pipe and PV2 tuner 107hp and 123lbft seems pretty good. The 110's are torque monsters, especially for two up.

Hello again all, got my bike back after two weeks. No she is a 117 with 259e cams, larger manifold and throttle body, bigger injectors and best of all there no longer is a terrible knocking from the engine. Breaking her in slow and bringing her back in after 500 miles to dump the synthetic oil out and put the blend in to break it in. I've heard the syn is terrible to break these in as its to slippery. I can tell she wants to run like a rocket, nice torque and power. Know more after break in and a full dyno tune.

with all that said I wonder what top end would be on my low rider with 120R. Dyno 125HP with 136 torque... Tune is conservative....

Default 117 upgrade cost

My dealer wanted $5,000 for the upgrade and I wasn't doing anything until they found the knocking going on in my engine. When they finally found it after 9 visits and I threatened to lemon it next if they didn't find it I think they did me a sweet deal when I asked to upgrade it since the cylinders were junk. Only cost me $550 out the door, did it all under warranty.

Well I don't ride on a dyno but I can peg the speedo on my cvo sg with no problem with plenty of grunt still left. Its basically stock with decatted headers and re-cored mufflers with xied's.
