Is there an easy way to see if an original 114 has the stage three, 117, kit installed?

So, no outward appearance differences at all?

Nope. And as far as the overall performance aspects between the two engine sizes it's going to be negligible. A whopping 3 c.i. isn't going to be much of a game changer.

Higher compression pistons, higher hp cam, stronger valve springs and stronger clutch springs/plates are also a part of the 117 big bore kit. No external changes. I did add a custom clutch cover.

Did Custom Engraving LTD do the cover for you? I have had them do several for me.

My thanks to Heatwave for the info! I've ordered one of the 117 CVO chrome clutch covers. I think those really look nice. The chrome and gold one is also very attractive, but I wouldn't want to introduce another color on my silver, gray, black bike. All chrome is perfect.
