Default 2017 CVO Street Glide Side Covers

Hello Friends. New to site, have 2017 CVO Street Glide. She's a whip. Very fun.

Had issue other day with side cover. When pulling off, 1 of the 3 pins cracked slightly. I am very unhappy looking at design. Pins sit on very thin plastic no support.

Anyone have same issue?

Any suggesting on how to glue?

Contact your dealer and get a new one under warranty.
I've never had a problem with mine.

Agree with MoFo67, that should be covered under your warranty. Take it in and get them to take some photo's to initiate a warranty claim. Might take a couple weeks, but they should replace it free of charge.

HD has been using that design since at least 09. Have never had an issue with them over 5 bikes and closes to 200K miles.

It should be covered under warranty.

When removing the side cover, always remember to pull straight back toward you with two hands, distributing the pulling force to all three pins equally. never pull from one side, and open like a door on a hinge.
