Can anyone recommend any options for a passenger seat for a 2006 Screamin Eagle Fat Boy (FLSTFSE2)? Would anything that fits the 2007 standard Fat Boy that is equipped with the 200mm tire also fit the 2006 Screamin Eagle Fat Boy? I am looking for a seat the would be comfortable for the passenger. Thanks!

 

I have a 2005 SE Fat Boy, with the SE passenger pillion. It is very uncomfortable, for the passenger. I bought an HD Sundowner seat for when my wife rides with me. It came highly recommended on the forums or I wouldn't have thought about getting an HD replacement seat.
The nice thing about buying one is you can go to the dealer and check it out before you buy it.

Thanks Tom… But I think the 2005 came with a different size fender, do they make that same seat for the wider fender that comes with the 2006 Fatboy SE?

 

I would think they make one that will fit your SE 2006, with the 200 rear tire.
Shouldn't be any different then a Sundowner seat that fits a newer FB with the 200 rear tire.
I paid $300 for mine it is the plain seat . For $330 I could have got the Fat Boy version. The only difference is the Fat Boy version comes with laces on the the side, which wouldn't have matched anything on my 2005 SE Fat Boy.

 

51830-06 is the rear seat that fits with the stock 06 SE seat. Page 238 in the 09 acc. book, top left picture.

 

The OP stated he wanted a seat that would be comfortable for the passenger. The SE optional passenger pillion is definitely not comfortable. It is narrow and hard, about the equivalent of sitting on a 2X4. My wife refuses to ride on the SE pillion, that is why I suggested the Sundowner.

I was just passing on info that he could use in his decision. I can not vouch for it's comfort just that it is designed to work with his stock SE seat. My gf has an 06 SE but does not have the passenger pad. We have been searching for a chrome fender rack for hers. been getting mixed answers with no guaranty of fitment. Good luck to the OP on a pad or complete seat. I have found Mustang seats to be very comfortable, they may have a good looking option for you.

 

I had a 05 screamin eagle fat boy and my second seat was a sundowner which was very comfortable. The seat also fit my friends 06 softtail standard with a 200 mm tire.hope this helps.

 

Sceamer, Did you ever find a rear seat that is comfortable an fits a 06 screamin eagle Fat Boy? I just bought one and need a seat or rear seat. The rear pad with it isn't working for the girl. Thanks

 

Had an 06 SE Fatboy, and put a Sundowner on it for my wife. Still have the seat, dont have the bike now. Sell it cheap if your interested. Also have a rear fender that has a slight dent at the very bottom about the size of your thumbnail. Had to replace mine, bike rolled back into a pole and dented the lip at the bottom of the fender. If you bike is painted the same as your avatar its the same colors.
