2009 CVO Fatbob
#11
I have an 09 Fat Bob cvo and have had no issues with tire pressure but after 1000 miles I started hearing a clunk when I hit bumps. Sounded and felt like the front end and I looked the whole bike over and saw nothing, being a mechanic myself I was reluctant to bring it to the dealer but after not finding anything and still hearing the noise I brought it in. In 1 quick spin around the block the Mech lifted up on my tank and it moved almost an inch. The bolts had come loose that hold it down...Just a heads up for anyone else that doesn't want to look like a fool bringing it in to the dealer.

RidenChrome, No one has ever driven my bike, other than the harley mechanic after he replaced the rim. No it hasn't hit a curb . I have never rode it with low air. It was a bad rim. The chrome finish flakes under where the tire seals to the rim.

I will have to keep a close eye on mine then, I'm usually pretty lax with tire pressure as my bike stays in my temperature controlled garage on a lift between rides.....Thanks for the heads up!
