I'm looking at a 2008 CVO Ultra Classic Electra Glide. What kind of 110 issues should I be aware of?

I just bought a 2011 CVO Softail Convertible. I have noticed a heavy vibration after 40 mph. It has just 1,200 miles and during the 1,000 maintenance service the local dealer noticed nothing unusual. The chief mechanic said that the vibration is normal for all new models with 110 engines. Is this true? They did all steps recommended at the owner's manual regarding vibration, including the routine check of tires.

Good day rvandy,
What ever happed with that 2008 ultra CVO?
I was wondering because I was looking at one this week and got to test ride it.
It was rather awesome, crazy fast for 900LBS plus.
thanks,

When I toured the York plant a few years ago (2006 or 2007?) they showed us the shop where the Screamin' Eagles were assembled - by a crew of 2 guys. Unfortunately for us it was the first week in July and the plant was down - the next model year was in production but not yet released, half of the plant was off limits so they couldn't show us too much.

Default Peanut Butter back rest pad

I am wondering if any one can tell me where I can purchase a peanut butter colored pad for a backrest on my 2001 FDXWG2 CVO switchblade.

Chris,

I see this is your first post. Welcome to the site. I'm not sure many here can help you, but I know a place that can.

www.cvoharley.com

That place is ALL CVO ALL the time. Someone there should be able to help you out. Take time to introduce yourself and tell them "IronHorse" invited you.
