$34 thousand dollars for a 2012 CVO StreetGlide.....unfugging believable!

 

Went to buy a new 2010 RKC in July 2009 . . . found a low-mileage (3700 miles) 03 SERK for more than $6000 less than the cost of the new RKC (a little more than half the cost of a new CVO at the time) . . . bought the 03 SERK with the 103 on it . . . have not been disappointed one minute withthe low-mileage used CVO instead of the new 2010 RKC with the 96ci and taxes and delivery and setup fees . . . or the warranty . . . but, I did not have to eat any of the depreciation--that alone was worth not having a warranty to me!

You might think "used CVO" when you look for a new(er) scoot sometime.

I took a chance buying from a private owner with no warranty . . . but given the results, two years later, I would do it again in a heartbeat . . .

Enough said.

 

I was waiting on them to release this years colors before I bought one, sadly disapointed in their choices for 2012, The 2012 colors look more like an after thought from earlier models. The 2010 and 2011 look more like a 30K bike. I may be looking for an 2011 rio red soon.

 

I totally agree!!!! I was ready to call my dealer and order a new 2012 CVO SG and then I seen the color options. Very disappointed. IMO, the 2011 Black Diamond CVO SG was beautiful and expected HD to progress forward on it not 2 steps backwards. Guess I will ride the Yamaha another year as it looks a hell of alot better than the 2012 SG not to mention that, I know, it runs better........

I am disappointed to see they did not redo the CVO Roadglide Ultra as that is the one I want, also disappointed in the colors this year.

 

Happy I got mine when I did!

 

Realy hate the colors on the 2012 CVO Street Glide. But I no longer have Bike envy!!!
