Default Recall Notice: 0903: TORQUE SMOOTHING CALIBRATION

Just noticed HD has recalled my 07 SE Ultra. Noticed the post under Touring models on this forum, wanted to make sure the CVO Owners were aware.

Will make appointment.

Yeah I just read that myself.
I posted this in the Touring Forum: I thought my bike was vibrating more than it should. Mirrors shake so bad I can't see chit. Thought it was just the break-in period. [:@]

My SE Dyna shook so bad that I lost my air cleaner cover doin' 90 down I-10! The bike is dangerous ... can't see anything out of the mirrors, and the cars behind me look like lights spinning on a pinwheel ... I haven't had a chance to complain to my dealer yet. Hope the recall fixes the bike, otherwise, I think Harley is gonna have a lot of unhappy (ex)customers.

I just had this recall work done on my se springer. I went for a thirty mile ride yesterday and it ran great. I also had the sert and vance and hines big radius pipes installed. I gained about 10% hp. Vooom!!

You might want to wait on the recal calibration for a bit.. Several owners here have had issues with it, especially when installed with the Stage 1 download.. SERT installs are a different animal....

Had my recall done a few weeks ago. My bike had been pinging terribly when you accelerate hard. Afterwards - it was great. It was like it was a new bike. But after about 200 miles, it started to ping again - like it went back to it's old self.

My 07 SE Ultra is stock - 7600 miles. I have been told I have to put on duals, SERT and SE air cleaner on to get rid of the pinging. I have been strongly considering it and that gets into the whole subject of which ones. Been reading alot here... my 2 choices are... Rineharts or V&H. Still so torn.

Can anyone advise me on where I can get a copy of that recall and the exact problem it addresses? Does anyone know the page of the Touring Forum or date this was posted?

Thanks.
