2005 CVO Ultra Glide or 2007 Classic??
Hey all.
I have an opportunity to buy an '05 CVO Ultra with 29K miles. The bike is in cherry condition and appears to need nothing, it is also really reasonably priced. I have only ridden Evos & Shovels in the past and need to know what to look for in these twin-cams.
What is the difference between the CVO and a regular Ultra other than the obvious 103", paint, chrome, etc. Are the brakes, frame, suspension standard or are they upgraded on the CVO??
I am also lookin at an '07 Electra Glide Classic with 11K miles for about the same money. I understand some changes were made this year such as 96", swing-arm and such. Is the '07 platform any better than an '05 CVO?
Trying to make a decision which one I want (if any!!) Still have my '89 Glide and my '76 FXE and somewhat apprehensive coming into a new decade with the fuel injection and all the electronics.......still want to be able to fix my own stuff.

In 2007, HD went to a 6 speed, upgraded the efi and increased the displacement of the touring bikes. In the same model year, the upgrades from classic to the ultra and then from the ultra to the cvo are engines, finish, stereo, paint and chrome from the wheels on up to the mirrors!
