Has anyone had a problem with the oil spinner in the compensator on the 2014 CVO Breakout? I took my CVO Breakout into the dealer for the 1000 mile service and they told me the oil spinner in the compensator was broken and it needed to be replaced. The service tech said I could continue riding until the part come in and they would replace it then. I opted out to leave the bike there because I'm not sure if the oil spinner is something that should be operating while riding. I hope there isn't any damage caused by the broken spinner. I've only had the bike for 3 weeks.

 

I just saw someone post this same issue on FB Breakout group and started searching for it elsewhere. What did this end up costing you? Did it cause any other issues?

You will find everything Breakout related. I had a 2014 CVO BO but just traded it in for a M8 CVO SG. The spinner shouldn't have caused any damage but your techs will verify when they swap it out for the new one. Hope the link helps.
