14 CVO King review
So it got here Friday and the weather has been great so I got a bit of riding in. I must say I love this bike! The finish is awesome, the 110 has tons of power, and it handles like a dream. Going from my Heritage to this bike is like night and day. I must say that I do miss the old girl a little, but the Road King is very quickly winning me over. I can't believe how stable it is on the road either at high speeds on the straight runs, or leaning into a corner. I've heard mixed reviews about the bars, but they actually fit me really well. The only thing I need to get used to is the seat. My old Heritage had a little more of a saddle and this one is hitting my a$$ in a few different spots, but I can still handle a few hours at a time with no pain, so I'm sure that by the time I get a chance for a full day run, I should be ok. Also, I was a little surprised at the exhaust. The guys at the dealership warned me that it was pretty quiet, and I had to agree when I fired it up, but after giving it a little throttle going down the road, it does perk up a lot and has a decent bark to it, so I think I'll hold onto the pipes for a while and see how it goes. Other then that, I couldn't be happier, and if the rain holds off this week I'll get in soon for my first service, then I can see what this engine really has to offer!
