Default 2011 CVO Street Glide-engine hot?!

Any recalls/situations with the 110 motor getting so hot? I have 05 Wide Glide with the 88, it gets hot, but nothing like this.

I just bought one with 5,200 miles on it, pristine condition, all the accessories & etc with it. I've rode around town, gets hot. Rode today into downtown, hit a few stop lights and it got real hot. Oil pressure is going down and idle was very low and made me think a few times it may quit at the light

Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks!

Get a catless headpipe and some mufflers along with a tuner and a tune and it should cool it down quite a bit.

Thanks HogPro. It has Vance & Hines on it with the stage 1. The previous owner gave me the tuner too. I've not messed with tuners before. I had heard the 110 ran hot. But losing some idle and watching the oil gauge drop was scaring me.

Called original dealer in Fort Ann, NY. Great service guy, Tim explained a few things. It has the Power Duel header and High Output Rounds from Vance & Hines on it. It was mapped and etc. Only way to cool it down some, is to change header. He recommended at ceramic header, it has it on inside and outside, made by Rush.

The motor hesitation and oil pressure drop is the heat temp safety put on 07 and newer models. It shuts off back cylinder to help with heat/temp.

I feel better now. I hope this info helps a few others too.

I just had mine dynoed and added the wards fans. Big big big difference.
I have the catless headers.

So the oil pressure drop is EITMS kicking in. I am sure a ceramic coated pipe would be a little cooler but I'll bet the bike itself still runs as hot.

My buddy has a CVO 110 and says it gets really hot although once he changed the head pipe and added a tuner it cooled down quite a bit.
