Thumbs down One pissed off buyer

So I just bought the 15 CVO Street Glide and today went to order a couple of options---can you friggin believe that not only does a 37K bike not come with the heated hand grips they don't even offer them if you have a CVO version of the SG?

I plan on doing a trip that hits every state---so I know I'll need heated hand grips---and they have them on the other versions---but both the catalog and the service manger here state you can't get them...WTF!!

I hope the hell they figure it out soon and offer them....

Or you can just calm down and buy heat gloves.

A little over dramatic! I would have made sure that it had heated grips for 37k. There are many different options to keep hands warm!

That's awful! I was just as upset when I purchased my Prevost coach it only came with a 50" TV outside on the patio and I can't upgrade to a 60" with out loosing my surround sound bar, like the other guys have. I'm devastated.

Since this is such as big issue, I give $100 and the bike off your hands.

I checked the Heat Demons web site and they have nothing listed at this time for 2015 Harleys.

You could try this http://www.aerostich.com/a-to-b-util...rap-grips.html

Or get heated gloves/glove liners.

What about a coffee machine? Can you hook one of those up. We need to get back to standard hard core bike. No windshield, no music, no gps, no million cubic feet of storage.

If you're still sitting in Florida and you're going to do a trip this year that hits all 49 states you are going to have much bigger problems than cold hands. You'd better plan on some snow tires at some point because in my experience you've waited too late. By next riding season the heated grips will probably be offered.

Did you post pics of the new bike?

I just got back from Demo days at Sun in Denver. Rode the 15 CVO Streetglide. Very nice bike, but unless I could pay cash, I would not finance 37K for one.
But that said, I had fun bouncing it around a little. I can see where the 110 would be fun in the twisties and straight line dragging from the stop lights. Definitely a bad *** ride. Don't think it would be my first choice for touring.

Can you friggin believe that someone spent 37k for a bike and didn`t check into it before he bought it?

Yeah, those heated hand grips are mandatory in some states. They inspect the bike at the state line, if you don`t have them they tell you to go away...

Heated grips were that important, yet you didn't check to see if they were available before putting up $37k????? Maybe your Miss Kitty mittens will be enough to keep you warm.
