So last few times ive rode my 82 fxwg it has started to crap out like its only getting half spark /no fuel after about 10 miles,,so i replaced the points condenser & coil,checked intake for leaks,,has a cv carb . I'm so stumped I guess next would be look behind timing plate?

 

Simplest things first. Check the caps to make sure they are venting. Check the fuel filter and look in the tank for crud that may be blocking the petcock.
