It is a Blue Streak mech with Blue Streak points.

 

How often does it need replaced/Rebuilt??

 

I'll let you know if I ever wear one out. My current set is a bit rusty from sitting dormant for the last 10 years. But no indication of significant wear. I haven't given it a thorough inspection yet, but I will when I get to that part of the build.

 

Won't wear out if Not used!
Counter to your Experience, it has been my experience that the Advance Mechanism should be Inspected, Cleaned, Lubed, At Least Once a Year!

 

I guess that you missed the post where I mentioned running the same set for 9 years and I have never once stated that I did NOT perform proper maintenance when I was riding.
