so I have a1978 shovelhead stock engine, with a s&s super B carb, Im not sure what the problem is that I have when ever I try to take off fast if I rev it and just pop the clutch the bike will want to stall or even if I try to burn out it will stall we just rebuilt the transmission and put a new clutch it used to be my dads bike and when he had it he had a super 3 carb and he was always able to take off fast and burn rubber and do burn outs, I don't really care to do burn outs I just want it to be able to take off fast with out wanting to stall out, I can never get a ahead of traffic next to me when taking off from a light because I have to go slow can someone point me into the direction that could fix this.

 

Does it Pop and spit when your riding? Is it hard starting or does it idle like ****?

 

I run into a similar issue with a Super E when I run low on gas... before hitting reserve
