Default xr1200r shocks on flh?

Is anyone aware of potential issues that would result from installing shocks off a XR1200R on my 1975 FLH? I am running stock shocks now.
Thanks

Won't work , the old bike's had a 300 to 325+lbs spring rate and the sporty shocks are much lighter, don't know the numbers on the XR1200 but the usually run about 225 or so. Tire will rub the fender also as the travel is longer too , FL shocks only had about 2" , the newer shocks are 2.5" or more, tried this already on mine.
