Shovelhead electrical problerm
Hi, I am kinda new and own a 1980 FLH Classic Shovelhead. I owned this bike for over 20 years. Recently my voltage regulator went bad and overcharged my battery and blew it. I replaced the voltage regulator, battery and all lights and bulbs that blew.Everything seems to be working fine I cheched my charging system when running and voltage looks good about 14.2 but one spot light burns out after about five minutes after running the bike nothing else blows any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Shovelhead was updated to 32 amp years ago and replaced 1 year ago with Spykes 32 amp Kit Stator ,rotor and voltage regulator. The Accel voltage regulator that was on the bike when I bought the kit was still good. So when the overcharging started I check the charging system, stator tested good voltage regulator bad so I put the old Accel on and started charging at around 14.2 good. I found the problem of the one spot light going out. The hot wire to the light was grounding and had nothing to do with the charging system I believe when I replaced that spot light I pulled on the wire and made contact with a bad connection that worked when I turned on lights but when I drove it the vibration made contact. Everything seems to be working now. Thank you
