Default Springer swap

Picked up a complete 2007 fxst springer fork setup and would like to swap out the dual disc narrow glide on my shovel. Not sure of the year frame 65 to 70 as there are no numbers. Any issues I will run into?

Fork stops maybe...otherwise, I can't think of any.
Excepting as I recall the Stock late HD springer is Kinda Long.

Thanks for the reply, thought someone might have done this before. Hate to strip the other one off only to find a issue but we will see!

FWIW My youngest took a Stock Heritage Softail [1986] front end off, and a Springer [early New style H-D, late '80s??] on without any issues whatsoever.
Pics would be nice!!

Here's a picture of the bike, the springer and the last picture shows how far the rake is on the head bolt. By reading around people mention that late springers have a negative rake, but I don't know if that means they changed the angle of the headstock or what. Should have paid attention in geometry class. Maybe all springers have this to account for the front wheel being on the rockers? Thanks.

That is a Newer springer [newest] so I don't know much about them..
Can't believe much changed tho...except the DirtBike lookin front fender on the older one...
The Youngest wanted to "try it out" I didn't want him to...Must admit. it didn't hurt nothin and may in fact handle a bit better at lower speeds.
I haven't rode it at higher speeds...but I'm confident he has...and he aint busted his ***!!!!
I think you may like it alot.
Just hard for me to get used to "new" and Springer...together.
