Been awhile since I posted,,,,well been ridin the old girl,rejetted the cv had her dialed in just right,,,went for long hard ride last weekend,ended with rear pipe bolt backing out AGAIN,,after installing special locking system from JP,,then 5 km later a deathly hammering as iff something came thru motor,hammering on bottom of tank. Was leaking oil again,so had plans to reseal top end,,but now I'm thinking its pistons downwards,,so ? is whats an average total rebuild top/bottom,in Canada.

I just spent $2100 on a top/botton rebuild, $1500 labor, $600 parts (pistons, rings, bearings baskets, crank pin etc.)
