Default Throttle sleeves

I recently purchased s 79 shovel head which I love. I have new Pangea speed bars I'm going to put on however I have never done the grips etc myself with a plastic throttle tube/sleeve. Will I need a new one or can I use the old one? Also if I do need a new one any suggestions? And I have an air compressor but what type of adhesive or glue should I use for getting the grips and throttle sleeve on. Something from a local store would be best. If someone could kind of walk me through the steps that would be great.

You can use the old stock throttle. Just loosen the two screws and slip it off. The grips sometimes are friction fit on the sleeve, other times you need some type of adhesive to bind it to the plastic sleeve. It's usually better to cut off the old grip rubber rather then trying to force it off and damage the plastic sleeve. The clutch side you can usually get off twisting or running it under some hot water.
