74 Shovelhead
#11
UPDATE...........Put a 40mm CV carb on and the local shovelhead guru made me a offer I couldn't refuse on a set of redone dual plug heads with manely valves, s&s springs, 3 angle valve job and new valve guides. The bike runs like a swiss watch , my Twin Cam is still collecting dust in the corner of the garage with a dead battery lol

I run dual plug heads -- both my plugs are 3/4 reach - no hassle with 2 different plugs -- my compression is 10:1 a stock bike with 8:5:1 CR and since you didn't mention if it has a stock cam or not.. the dual plugs wont make a difference -- cool looking - but the kinda are intended for high compression where the piston dome is an obstruction.. wont hurt - but I wouldn't expect much..
dual plugs you gap the plugs @ .28 and back the timing up to 32 -- remember the fuel is now going to burn sooner --
if its a stock 74 check the VTHUNDER camshafts -- hyd also so no tic-tic
my bike (not the one in the pic) is 97" trock 3 13/16th cylinders and stock 80" flywheels - leinweber L-5 cam
