Torque Specs for exhaust studs
Hi there,
I'm in the process of installing a new set of drag pipes, and am going to be changing the exhaust bolt to a stud/nut. Cannot find the torque specs for the exhaust bolt in the original service manual. Does anyone remember to what spec should torque it? Thank you, -Danny

You won't be able to get a torque wrench or an adapter into them so just snug it up on there decently and use a good smear of Permatex Ultra gray inside the head port and on the gaskets then let sit overnight after the pipes are mounted solid, even if the nut backs off that stuff will still hold the pipe on without leaks.
