Default Welded clutch hub studs - pics

Welded the clutch hub studs - silicon bronze rod - TIG welded - lower temp with silicon bronze - seems to work pretty nice

Nice but I would find out what's been rubbing on the outer back edge of that hub, that's ugly.

I bought the BDL setup from a guy that did not use safety wire on his primary bolts - the bolts go loose and caused a bit of rubbin and gindin = the hub runs straight - in fact - now that I dialed it in - I can spin the hub with the clutch pulled and it spins like that video everyone posts when they show how a shovel clutch should "spin" - new bearings - aluminum frictions - straight drive plates - and stock release disc and pressure plate - the welds make this very tight - but then again - the hub is done if a stud breaks or I have other issues

Naw, you just drill or ball grind them out and counter sink the hole again. Before hubs became common I used to rebuild them with new studs, still have a bunch somewhere.
