Default Not the color I like to see primary oil...

Primary was makin' a funky noise I didn't like...seemed more up front, like the stator area.
So yesterday went 'n pull the outer....behold the chocolate milk! And I just changed the primary oil like 2 months ago.
Chain was over an inch or so slack..so tightened that..noise went away. But the amount of water that got in there was disturbing. Didn't get caught in heavy rain in the past 2 months, musta been during an over-aggressive hose down and it got in under the solenoid foam ring.

Flushed the crap out of the whole area with carb cleaner...a bit of powder on the drain magnet too. Guess clutch wasn't happy about that oil.

4 hour ride yesterday right after I changed it all...ran fine.
Used to water in the oil making it more creamy colored...found it odd that it looked more like chocolate milk. I just use the V-Twin primary/chain juice. I isolated the primary 2 years ago, so nothing related to engine (although I checked that oil anyways...she's pristine)

One of the draw backs of an isolated primary. If it stretched that much it may be time for a new chain. Water is not a great lubricant.
