The battery tray, lower part, has two slotted holes at the back and tabs on the side, but as I did not take this particular bike apart I don't know where it attaches to?

I know it's located on the right hand side of the bike, above the gearbox? but that's as far as I get...where do the two slotted holes slide into/over and what are the other mounting points?

If anyobe can explain or show me a pic of how to mount it and to what I'd be really gratefull!

 

Figured it out!

To trans via the rubbermount and the frame via rubbermount, back to oiltank and oiltank via rubbermounts to frame, correct?

There just one bracket that I can't figure out, I'll see if I can post a pic of it...

 

That would probably be the tab that goes on the long studs on the transmission then rubber mounted to the battery tray about midway on the bottom.
