Alright I'm having my jugs bored and gonna have to get oversized pistons. What is the best to go with. I'm not racing it or anything just gonna ride it and maybe ride it hard a few times but nothing extreme

+ 1 on the S&S and to add I like the cast pistons better then the forged - I have evo strokers with 90,000 miles and the same cast pistons are still in them

if money is no object as they are 6 to 8 sets to one in cost against the Mid USA pistons we use in the shop 20 years and more yes they are imports but never had an issue 100s of sets installed

I heard that forged was the way to go for overall performance and would last longer

cast pistons are hard material and don't need the piston to wall space the forged does - and the forged is a pure alloy and being that its soft and needs more room to keep it alive -
now in racing environments forged is the way to go as its thicker and can handle the very Hi performance requirements needed, plenty of room but noisy cold till they expand, so if you max the engine out as you drive to the bar and back it becomes an owner choice

Been using those since the early 80's and haven't had a bad set yet and I can't say that about Weisco or Keith Black stuff, had a few set's their forged pistons have the skirts gall up early on.
