Default Anyone see the Mecum Auction on TV?

If you haven't. holy smoke there were some amazing bikes out there. If you did, I have an opinion question... They had a 72 and a 73 FLH run back to back. One was blue with original tins for 10k, the other a very rare red with original tins ran for 12k. Personally, I think both of these bikes were a complete bargain... Thoughts?

You need to check out the Knuck prototype, a strap tank etc and many cool brit bikes..

Recorded and watched both days and loved every minute! Wish I could afford some of the bikes.

I saw the auction also. Some nice buys on some '47 & '48 Chiefs also!
10K-12K seems to be about the right price for nice cone shovel FLH's and I agree, that's a great buy. They're still great touring bikes, you can't get a nice flatside shovel (let alone anything earlier) or a new bike for that kind of money, and the 'Cool factor' is way higher than any evo or twin cam.
