Default Mid eighties 4speed

Does a 85/86 four speed have a vent on it, not seeing one in the SM.

The vent was a hole drilled through one of the top cover screws.

I know your bike is newer but this is how it was done on the 78 FXE 4 speed trans. One screw was drilled for the vent and that screw had to be used in the correct screw hole it cover. I looked in the manuals that I have but I could not find anything for the later model 4 speed.

Vent hole facing on the rear, just below Welch Plug
