I had a 1980 Classic that I absolutely loved,however due to bad judgement and some Jack Daniels, i now have a 83 lowrider. The wiring harness and oil lines were all stock and the harness had a few "custom" alterations to it so I was going to replace them.Ended up with a total tear down. I had floorboard tabs welded onto the frame,then powder coated flat black and the engine rebuilt. The guy said that no one else had been in the engine and other than new pistons and replacing all the seals,bearings and gaskets the engine is in fine shape.No major work was needed.SOOOO now I am at the point of rebuilding her. On a very limited budget so as much of the work I can do myself I will.I did tear down my classic and managed to rebuild it and it stayed running till I wrecked it,but that was a long time ago in a galaxy far far away.I will post pics over in da gallery.
