1970 shovel , has a rebuilt s&s on it , fixed this issue on a dyna before , but this time all the rubber looks good to the intake man back the jets look good. So don't feel like fking w it this time any sugestions as to a good fit simple and easy new carb to try ie muniki S&s stock . What is considered by the masses to be the best .

 

Any carb will need to be Tuned...
Fuel injection with auto tune works for bolt-on and go....

 

change the low speed jet is looks open but it has a film that the great fuel we now have clogs it and you can see through it

 

By fcking with it,you mean proper adj? Or does it mean you've done everything you could to figure it out AND you know what you are doing? These are good carbs I have no problems with mine ,I run a super ""E"" on my 77 sporty, basically same tech as your shovel,if it is a bad carb ( bad rebuild probably) I say option 1.re-rebuild it with anew kit or option 2.buy another S&S or option 3. Send the carb to S&S to rebuild still cheaper than new and basically new and done right.If you really just don't want an S&S for whatever reason spend$ on another brand but mostly these are great carbs.
