I like a firm feel so i use 20 weight and to firm it a little more put in an extra 1 oz. What i mean there is i used the maximum of 12.5 oz as the recommended amount was 11.5-12.5 oz. As for capacities found this on the forums I would say it's quite accurate. Also in hotter climates can get away with the next heavier weight...

I don't believe that SAE 30 motor oil is the same as Fork oil. Fork oil is more of a hydraulic oil and will not break down as much as conventional oil.... However I'm sure you can still use it if you wish too......

I will never use more oil for any reason... more spring, put more preload or change springs... more Damping action, use a heavier [single weight] oil..

Johnjzjz said use the 30 weight lawnmower oil in the forks, says its a vast improvement. Ill be running that in my 66. Not sure if it would apply to my TWINKIE but I might try it.
