Default Tire Suggestions for '79 Lowrider build

OK, I am making progress on my '79 FXS-80 and it is time to start thinking about new tires. I am going to restore the bike to be "period accurate" (more or less) but it is not a restoration... I want the bike to look like someone built it at the time to be a bad-*** bike. So... the tires need to look more or less like they came from the 1979/1980 era. Any suggestions?

BTW - I am going to keep the cast wheels (for now) and the original Harley silver paint, if that helps. I kind of stink at the design aspect of these things, so thanks in advance!

The O.E.M. tires were white letter Goodyear Eagle A/T's and good luck finding a usable pair. I have Dunlop 401's on my FXEF, 90/90 ON FRONT AND 130 on back. Dunlop used to make a white letter Qualifier but I don't know if they still do.

I think I got 20,000 plus miles on my original ATs on my 79 Low Rider.

Yep Goodyear Eagles were original ... Good luck finding any and if you did they'd be harder than a brick. I currently have 402 on mine and they're a decent tire. I can imagine getting 20,000 miles on a set of original AT's
