Default 1977 FLH Turn Signals

I bought a One Owner 1977 FLH that has its turn signals mounted on the handlebars like a Super Glide .
The Owner said thats the way it come new .
I have never seen one inperson that way .
I have been told it is wrong and never come that way .
But on a Google serch I come with a couple that way.
Any Opnions Out There ?

Welcome to the forums.

The FX bikes had the handle bar mount turns , FLH they were under the passing lamps on the light bar under the big nacelle headlight. As you are finding a lot people changed things around over the years.

Thats what I thought also .
But if you do a Google search it will pull up a few of them that way ?
So Im a little confused about it .

The Original Owner I bought the bike from .
Swears thats how it come ?

I just got confirmed that it is right and stock .
FLHS
FLH Sport .
Turn signals mounted on the handle bars

Yes the FLHS had the lights there, and foot pegs and other FX style parts. But I didn't think they made an FLHS in 1977. Regardless, enjoy the bike!

For 1977 MoCo made 535 FLHS models and 8,691 FLH models.

hi. I know this an old thread. But. What model do you have then? Flh or flh sport? I have a 77 flh sport. Directional are on the handlebars stock. Got any pics?

77 confederate edition flh sport
