Shovelhead wiring harness sources
#2
This might not help you, but I am rebuilding one now and have decided to build a new harness from scratch - but I am using a Motogadget "m-unit" as the heart and brain of the wiring. This contains all the switches and relays the bike needs in solid state form and makes possible a really, really simple wiring harness.
Plus it includes a built in alarm and all kinds of extra functionality like the ability to program the turn signal behaviour, rear brake light modulation etc, etc....
Worth a look:

It's a bit high tech if you want a factory original rebuild, but I want my electrics to be modern day quality!
