Old pic of my 81 FXE. Rode to hell and back on that bike. Im looking for a 1974 to restore, found some old bike mags I had from back then and fell in love all over again for one of those AMF Rainbow tank paint jobs that had in 74.
After 8+ months and countless hours it is really finally done. S&S cases and an S&S 88 kit. Everything has changed except the apes, engine and frame. I did paint most of the frame but should have had it powder coated while the engine was out. Oh, well.

picked up this 74, needed some work,wasn't running and never liked the paint, soo it's strip it down time. got the frame painted and sorted out the elec issuses.
