My first Harley, bought it as a pretty much stock fxe when I was 21. Rode it the way it was for about 2 years then tore it down to the frame and made it what you see now. Got it on the road last fall after about 4 years of building it. Dropped in a softail 5 speed with a kicker kit and a bdl 2" primary for a softail.

Default Shovel by shovel

Should've said: "Turning me into a (Basket Case)" LOL! Really trying to find reproduction or OEM parts. The picture doesn't show the rust and crud all over. It's 50 years old and needs everything from Steering head to Drive chain. Wheels, Shocks, You name it. But it's only money, right? I am told it was left sitting since 1985. No love or attention for 40 years! Motor is about the only thing in good/decent shape so I consider myself a lucky man!
