Frame, motor and tranny are all matching and original. He is not a chrome fan so aluminum parts were used where he could do so. Black parts (except for bags) are black powder coated. Stainless spokes, nos wiring harness, Cycle Electric 32-amp system with Dyna S igniton, all stainless fasteners (except on motor), belt drive with kick and e-start, Russell braided lines, rebuilt transmission, S&S B-carb. He built his own handlebars and we routed lines inside the bars. He had the seat pan made and he covered it himself (he does very good leather work). Think about every moving component on the bike was rebuilt.

Motor was compeletly rebuilt by RE Engineering (local shop in San Jose) and is a stock 74 with 30 over pistons.

Paint was done by Renteria Brothers (local shop in Morgan Hill) using House of Kolors paint.

First start went very well. Have an oil pump issue but that well be rectified quickly. Now we just need some dry weather so that he can properly break the bike in.

where the seat from

Default My FXE

Here's my FXE. It's in a Santee frame. A couple pics of how she was when I got her...

'71 ish FXE in Santee Frame. Looks ok in the pic, but the Yellow is hideous.

'71 ish FXE in Santee Frame.

'71 ish FXE in Santee Frame.

'71 ish FXE in Santee Frame. Dry clutch.

'71 ish FXE in Santee Frame. Too large of a gap between the rear wheel and rear fender.

'71 ish FXE in Santee Frame. Old Harley Chicken air cleaner on an S&S super B.

I recently just begun a retrofit/rebuild. I'm finally making her my own.

Here's a pic of where she is right now...

Current look...

Definitely a work in progress.
