Temp diff between front and rear Cyl
I own a 1980 AMF Flt. I battle to understand why the front cylinder runs warmer than the rear cylinder. I have checked the ignition and valve timming and everything else i can think of. To me it feels like the rear cylinder is just along for the ride. If i feed it it must work. On my microlight we run EGT gauges and the temp dif between cylinder can not be more than 20 deg C but then we have dual carbs. I understand turbines but pistons idont understand fully. Help please

The forward cylinder measured on the outside at the exhaust stud is 312 deg c and the rear cylinder is 220 deg at 1200 rpm after a couple of minutes running. I have dual spark plugs. Checked again last night and all four is firing. Sorry for the delay but there is 8 hour time difference. Will check compresion as soon as i can. Thanks
