Hey guys,
I'm new here and I have a 74 shovster that I have been working on for about a year and a half. I am not the builder just the buyer. I have wrenched on this bike a ton so far and am at the point that I have a couple questions for the more experienced harley guy. first, should I be posting in here or is there a more suited thread/sub-forum for me and if here's fine what size main jet would I use on a motor like this? I just put an s&s shorty E on it. it idles fine and is nice and responsive but when I get to about 2nd gear it starts sputtering out on me. I think it may be a short but also I want to make sure I'm using the right size jet. Thanks for any help.
