Default carbs

hey guys ive got yet another carb question and i dont mean to open up a can of worms either.im finally gettin ready to put my 81 flt on the road.its all stock and my question is this.ive got 3 different carbs 1 is a new takeoff cv 2 is an edelbrock quick silver 3 is a revtech all bought off e-bay.the revtech came with the bike.wich would be the better carb?im not into hot roddin it obviously lol.any help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I would go with the most common of the bunch. The CV. It's easier to find parts and answers if you have problems. Once it's tuned properly you'll get good power, fuel economy and reliability. I cant speak for the others as I've never used them. Alot of shovel guys switch to CV carbs for the power and ease of kick starting.
That being said, I'm still running S&S on all mine cept the 05 which has a Mikuni. (The jury is still out on the Mikuni).
Hey you could sell the rest on Flea bay and get some $$ in yer pocket!!

thanks for the info.ive noticed that a lot of people tend to lean towards the cv carbs.keeps snowin up here in my neck of the woods so ill have some time to tune lol.cant wait to get it out on the road.

I have pondered getting a CV and tryin it out on my wide glide. But it runs OK with the super E so until I get a hell of a deal on one the S&S will stay.
Weather sucks here too. Been rainin several days now. But it'll probably quit by July!!
