Electronic Ignition
|
a lot of people are telling me to replace the original 1981 electronic ignition with a Crane or Dyna. They said overall it will run much better. Whats the opinion, is it worth the change? Seems past owner installed Accel coil.

I actually couldn't tell much difference in performance when I went to the Dyna so if your original is working fine I don't think personally I'd spring for the cash to buy one. Mine went south so I had no choice. Just my 2-cents worth.

unless your running the bike wide open the stock works fine -- if its that old buy a new one when you can and have it for when the old one dies -- look for a deal on ebay for a new one --- i like the ones that use the stock tin cup no moving parts --

as i said go to O'reilly's and buy a set of AUTOLITE XS 65 -- once you try them your never gonna use nothing else .. i never thought a spark plug could make a difference like that..
