I cant get the dampiner tube out of the lowers fork tube so that mean i cant take the fork tubes out any ideas how i can get it out??

 

What do you mean you can't get the damper tubes out of the forks? Are you referring to the nut that goes into the bottom of the lower leg which is a hex head? Do you have a socket to fit it? Is it spinning when you're trying to unfasten it? Are you using an impact gun? ( recomended ) If the bolt is spinning but not loosening I've always had luck taking a broom handle ( wooden ) and stuffing it down the fork tube to "jam" the assembly and keep it from spinning.

 

It is a 6mm allen bolt on a FXWG. You will need to leave the springs in and use and impact gun to loosen in or use the broom handle trick.

 

If you've got the allen bolt out be sure that you've removed the upper dust boots, cir-clip that holds the seal into the inside of the upper part of the lower leg then use the fork tube to pull/push/drive the seal out of the lower fork leg. Check out this link.

soo i have to use the fork tube to pull out the seal out of the lower leg cause it sounds like im gunna break something when i pill up on the tube
