Default Compression test readings

Stone cold compression test numbers on '69 FLH that hasn't run since November are around 82 lbs in front and rear. Are these acceptable numbers?

first off you dont have a lot of info to give a real answer to your question

older engines are not rated on any one number like blood pressure - its how different is the engine's compression front to rear - Note - cranking speed will change the number ie battery condition also plays a roll - type of oil in the motor 50W 70W and has it sumped some of it

< running in water up to your ankles you can a lot faster than you can up to your knees -

My opinion if the numbers are with in 10 pounds of each other -- with the throttle wide open and a fresh battery and no oil in the cases that does not belong your good -- just my take doing this 2 weeks now -- johnjzjz
