Anybody know of a way to modify an S&S Super E carb to accept the cover from a Keihin? I'd really like to keep the round cover for sentimental reasons, but certainly don't want to effect the performance of the S&S. if its too much of a PITA, I'll just go with the new cover. Thanks.

 

on antique air filters modded to later carbs we make a tin template of like you want with an S&S - cut the old one out and weld in the new one this way its not sticking out so far -----

its not that big a deal and it has personal value sooo go for it - johnjzjz
