A friend of mine tried to find a manifold for a Shovel-Mikuni...............he couldn't, maybe you can.

you don't need a special manifold

you need the manifold adapter sold by mikuni and a few others to bolt the carb onto a standard manifold

Thanks, but that seems like a lot. Must get S&S manifold and then an adapter just to run a Mikuni carb. Not for me but thanks anyway.

they make a 25 / 35 dollar rubber adapter for the stock manifold and its made by mikuni

S&S "E" is pretty much a done deal. I just checked the price on the entire kit 668.$ retail boy they have gone up since I bought mine.
if your manifold/heads are a rubber band type and your intake would fit the "E" you can get a kit less intake and has a notch for 5 gal tanks for 611.
BTW anyone have an intake for the "E" late shovel?
want to trade for one for a "G"?
