S&S B simplest carbs out there
The S&S B is one of the simplest carbs out there. Very easy to tune and there's nothing to them. The only thing is they have no accelerator pump. So you have to give the throttle a couple snap to get her going. The biggest problem people have is tuning them to rich. You can buy a add on accelerator pump bowl for them for about $100. They do work but if your going to do that, then you might as well buy a S&S E. I would just rebuild it.

CV carb is the best for fuel mileage and all around driving - but it does not out preform a Mikuni
S&S works - the rest are fad carbs edelbrock and alike great till you brake down out of town and no one has anything for it

Never had much luck with the Rivera SU ... Had a Mikuni for a time. The Super E is on mine and it still works great!
