ok suppose pistons on stock height cyls are +.014 in cyls, stock oem heads, polished not milled, ross forged pistons (9:1 ADVERTISED cr) what would be a good approximation of the static Cr given this little knowledge, ( cannot cc the chambers )

Assuming your asking what a compression check should read it should work out to around 130 - 135 PSI cold give or take 10% for variables like gasket thickness , material removed from the squish dome in the heads and the taller cylinders if that's accurate .

you need a CC beaker - you than need to fill the cylinder at BDC and TDC and do the math

but why would you want to know the static compression it meens nothing But if you must know -- what is the camshaft duration Total, using .053 on a degree wheel intake and exhaust open and closing numbers - if you know the Lobe serparation angle post it it does help - and the center line of the two lobes will help as well as it is also needed in the math equation - the location of the valves as it relates to the total camshaft timing is the only way to do what you want BTW - johnjzjz
