Default trouble finding clutch cable of custom shovel build

I have a "72 shovel head built in a paco hard tail frame with a ratchet top 4 speed. I cannot for the life of me find a clutch cable that will fit 16" apes with a 1" riser. Can anyone point me int he right direction? I have already ordered 2 wrong ones from J&P and the HD dealer was no help at all.

If you've got a good dirt bike shop in the area they can probably make you one

I might try and find one. I am getting so tired of people asking me what model I have and then scratching their heads when i try and explain what I have.

What you say is I have a stock 74 shovel FLH or FX ( they are the same cable & length ) and you need a new cable at least 12" over stock length . Use the later year than 72 because some parts books don't list the 70 to 72 for some weird reason .

Long as your needs to be take the advice given and give Barnetts a call and have them explain how to measure out the length you'll need . Ran into this years ago and nobodies making real long shovel cables anymore .

Thanks for confirming that for me. That was what I was telling folks as is, but I wasn't sure if I was correct. I am thinking I will be needing to call baronets at this point.
